TQI Safaris prides itself in offering you a wide variety
of the finest bird shooting in Southern Africa. From upland
game birds and driven guinea fowl, to waterfowl, dove and
pigeon.
 Whether you wish to hunt fowl, plains game
at Branstone Lodge in the Stormberg Mountains of South
Africa, the animals of the bush veldt at our bush camp
in the Eastern Cape or one or more of the Big Five in Mozambique
or Tanzania. Robbie, Justin, Jeffery, John and Murray,
our professional hunters, will strive to make your hunt
a successful and memorable one.
From the weather conditions, clothing requirements, physical
demands, transportation needs, firearms required and special
request, Trophy Quest stands ready answer any questions and
to eliminate any concerns you might have regarding you safari.

Your
Safari 
1.
Each safari is individually planned to meet your
exact requirements. With over a hundred different
species offered on our hunts there are simply too
many to list. We also offer custom corporate packages for
5 to 10 days.
2.
We recommend 10 - 14 days for game hunting safaris
and 3 -7 days for bird hunting safaris.
3. You
will be responsible for your own travel arrangements
to and from East London or Port Elizabeth airports.
Most safaris start and end at these destinations,
unless otherwise stipulated. However, Trophy Quest
International would be happy to assist you in making
these arrangements, if required.
4. We recommend
that advanced bookings are done for all safaris and
we are advised of the species required. This is essential
to secure your booking and to prepare your safari
timeously and to your specification.
5. You
will need a valid passport to enter South Africa. South
Africa does not require an entry visa
Firearms:
1.
You
will automatically be issued with a temporary
import / export permit for your firearms and ammunition
at your port of entry.
2. Automatic
weapons are illegal in South
Africa.
3.
For any of the "Big Five" the
law requires a minimum calibre
of 375. For plains game any calibre
from 270 upwards will be suitable.
4.
Shots range from close quarters
in thick bushy conditions to fairly
long shots up to 300 yards in open
plains, so a good variable scope
is recommended.
5.
For bird shooting a 12-gauge shotgun
is recommended. We can supply shotgun
shells for bird hunts.
6.
Firearms can be hired by prior
arrangement.
 Trophies,
Permits and Licenses:
1. The export of trophies from the Taxidermist is for
your own account.
2. All
plains game trophy fees for South Africa include
hunting licenses.
3. Some
species require CITES permits, we will assist
you in obtaining these once your safari is
booked and confirmed.
Transport:
1. Well-maintained
and reliable four-wheel drive vehicles, specially
equipped for hunting, are utilized in our hunting
areas.
2. No
hunting is done from our vehicles, but they
are utilized for getting between and around
hunting areas.
3. Due
to the distance between some of our hunting
areas you may wish to travel by air charter.
This can be discussed and booked on confirmation
of your safari.
Other Activities:
1. Photo,
touring and fly-fishing Safaris can take place
during, before or after your hunting safari.
These safaris are personally guided and are tailored
to suit your time and budget.
